Drop-Off Shredding Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM at our Garden City facility.

Our Secure Document Destruction Process:

  1. Collection and Transportation

    • National Archives provides secure shredding consoles and locked collection bins that allow you to conveniently dispose of confidential documents at your location. Once containers are full, simply schedule a pickup or enroll in a recurring shredding program with weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service. All materials are securely transported to our destruction facility.

  2. Shredding and Destruction

    • Upon arrival at our facility, documents are destroyed using industrial-grade shredding equipment designed to ensure complete confidentiality. Following destruction, all shredded paper is responsibly recycled to support environmentally sustainable practices.

  3. Certificate of Destruction

    • After your records have been securely destroyed, National Archives provides a Certificate of Destruction for your records. This certificate serves as documented proof that materials were destroyed in accordance with established security and compliance standards.
